In the same way that libraries contain vast amounts of INTELLIGENCE, but the only WISDOM within is held by the person who has read or lived enough to connect patterns from the information to their practical applications;
Businesses challenged with manual data application are taking books off the shelf to read them one by one, while businesses using AI to parallel process their data are reading 1,000 books or more at any time.
For operators qualified by judgement-value, like my role in implementation consulting and project management, the advancement of these intelligence systems into wiser decision-making functions should serve as motivation to continue diversifying skillsets.
Companies subsidize their decision-making intelligence into technology to mitigate the higher cost of employing decision-making humans. AI will inevitably compete against judgement-value operators at all levels unless computer labor costs raise higher than human labor costs.
